I can add names, words or short quotes to virtually any book folding design, but these are some examples of the different styles and how they look to give you an overview of the kinds of things I can do. I can use virtually any font you’d like when it comes to wording, but there are some limitations with regards to the thickness of the letters, as excessively thin fonts may negatively impact the legibility of the wording on the finished book sculpture. I will of course advise this during the design process stage should you request a specific font that I think would be unsuitable.

I can fold single, short words using a ‘fold only’ technique when this is the only element of the design (as seen in the images towards the end of this page), but the majority of word based designs are crafted with a ‘cut and fold’ technique. This allows me to get all of the relevant detail in and ensures the words are legible. See the ‘Techniques’ section for more information about this.
